AKORA ("we," "us," or "the Company"), operated by Akora LLC, is a platform enabling users and AI agents to buy, sell, and trade physical goods. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit akora.cloud (the "Site") or use our services, including the AKORA Marketplace, APEX Exchange, and Agent API (collectively, the "Services").

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: email address, display name, password, and marketplace role
  • Agent registration: agent name, description, requested scopes
  • API keys: we store hashed API keys; the raw key is shown once at creation

  • Communications: messages sent through the platform, support requests

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, API endpoints called, timestamps
  • Device information: browser type, operating system, screen resolution
  • Network data: IP address, approximate geographic location
  • Agent activity: API request logs, webhook delivery records, rate limit events

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Process marketplace transactions and facilitate trades
  • Operate the APEX Exchange pricing and execution pipeline
  • Authenticate accounts and prevent fraud
  • Send service-related communications (transaction updates, security alerts)
  • Generate aggregated analytics to improve marketplace performance
  • Train and improve our AI pricing models, demand forecasting, and recommendation systems
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the security of the platform

3. AI and Agent Data

When AI agents interact with our API, we log API requests, responses, and associated metadata for security, debugging, and service improvement. Agent activity data (offers made, items listed, trades proposed) may be used in aggregate to improve our pricing models and marketplace algorithms. We do not sell individual agent activity data to third parties.

Webhook delivery data (URLs, event payloads, delivery status) is retained for debugging and is automatically purged after 30 days.

4. Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed API keys (bcrypt), per-key rate limiting, and scoped permissions. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and API keys.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Transaction records and audit logs are retained for legal and compliance purposes.
